Planning with Kaylie for her senior pictures was so much fun. She has a great eye for art and style. We weren't able to find the barn we were looking for but thanks to my sister and an old high school friend, we were able to get the truck we had in mind!It was 18 years ago this morning that I received a call from my dear friend that Kaylie had arrived and that same day that I was able to hold this beautiful baby girl in my arms. The time has flown by so fast, so many milestones and wonderful things celebrated. I know her mom must be feeling a bit melancholy about this particular birthday as she is that much closer to graduating high school and a few months after that--following her dreams! Although I'm sure she also can't help but soar with pride. On this special birthday, she can celebrate that her daughter has grown to be an incredible young woman. She bears an amazing strength of conviction and honesty. She knows what she wants and more importantly, what she doesn't. Kaylie, on your 18th birthday..I wish that your dreams, whatever they may be, come true and if they don't , that you make them happen. Happy birthday sweet girl!
